Planes, trains and automobiles… well… cut the planes and trains….. oh….and insert ferries

First in the series of “What we did in Norway on our vacation pictures”.
If you have been in Norway (and by that I look away from those who’ve only been shopping in the bigger cities) you’d know that driving can be hazardous. It’s hard to capture precisely how tiny, curvy and slant some of the roads are, because when you drive on those, there’s rarely a safe spot to stop and photograph.
Anyway, here are some pictures from our trip to, from and in Norway:
C posing in front of the ferry taking us from Hirtshals, Denmark to Kristiansand, Norway
Tried to capture a road that took us down from the Hovden area highlands to Haukeli. Tour de France anyone?
Driving to Folgefonni (gletcher), we encountered a bit of “wildlife” not caring that the road was for cars
Kojak posing behind his car almost on top of Folgefonni. Check out the view behind him (don’t worthy him a glance if you will)
The road that leads to Folgefonni (if you encounter other cars, good advice is needed)
The road that leads to Folgefonni
Driving down again, we ancountered yet another bunch of stupid cattle
This one was particularly stupid (and not especially afraid of cars)
Ok ok, I acknowledge that there haven’t been enough pictures of me (can there ever be?), so I post this one to show off my 1 week old wannabe beard (gone again now though)
Stay tuned for more pictures tomorrow.
Oh btw, the Imagemanager I installed kinda sucks. Think I’ll try something else tomorrow…
What .. Kojak has a new car :-) …. Lucky B*$£â‚¬rd
Yes – he got a new cool car. I don’t consider him a lucky B*$£â‚¬rd though…. Just a B*$£â‚¬rd ;-)
