Now we’re at it.

Things you don’t want to know part II
I accidentally asked C what the nature medicine was made of that she brought home from Dr. Feel Good back in China. She brought home 2 bags of powdery foul brown stuff that she keeps in the freezer when not used. Can’t make out what it is and smelling the goods is no help.
C couldn’t remember the exact ingredients, but specifically remembered that the good doc broke off part of a dried up deer foetus and blended it up. When she saw my face expression, she added: “It was part of the head”.
She drinks it mixed in warm water every morning and evening. Even though I can see that she doesn’t like it, she still downs it and insists that her energy level is rising.
Not even sure we were allowed to bring it across the border, but here we are: C, me and the foetus in the freezer.
Reading this, the only thing I felt rising was my half-digested lunch…
Yeech!!
Trust me, I’m not a fan of neither the thought of a blended dried-up foetus in my freezer, nor the thought of C eating the stuff, but this is what you get for marrying I guess.
Ps.: Tim, somehow you got caught in the spam filter. You really are a naughty boy as I learned earlier when a check on my site listed your’s as a bad influence :-)
My wife also took some nature medicine once some years back. Among others a lot of different dried bugs inside. She got it all dried and had to cook it herself once a week. One of the most disgusting smells (and looks) I have ever encountered. And the pot was disposed afterwards – I refused that we could ever use it again. It was supposed to help her get pregnant – it cost a fortune and she had to travel from Dalian to Shengyang (4 hours by car) to get it – she went there several times. And guess what – it didn’t help. Some good new fashioned science did the job.
Now C finally stopped taking the stuff. It was too foul smelling/tasting even for her. Pheew….
