Getting ready
Jun 26th, 2007 by Peter
It’s soon now. Only 4 days before we’ll be on a plane towards Beijing.
We’re as ready as can be with the obvious exceptions. We need packing the few things that can’t be fixed before the last day anyway. Stuff like toothbrush, shampoo, shaving gear, mobile phones, gadget-chargers and so on. Then there’s the note for the folks living in our home while we’re away describing how to keep the freaking tomato plants happy and so on.
Friday my brother will come and give me a ride to my other brother and his girlfriend who, in what must have been dim-witted moment, agreed to look out for our rabbits.
Then Saturday The Kojak will pick us up, and we’ll head to Copenhagen Airport.
Not nervous about meeting my in-laws yet, but I’m sure that will hit me the day before we arrive.
Ps.: A big thanks to The Kojak for lending us his cool car the last 14 day while he were on vacation. You’re in for a hug and a kiss on your shining forehead when I see you later today.
3 days left by far. :) it’s very normal to be nervous when u first see your in-laws.Take it easy,I am sure they all like you.
Tnx Ray.
You’re welcome :) Many thanks for NOT touching me like you threatened, when I landed from my China trip ;)
Well, I weren’t delutional from a 10 hour flight and jetlag, so I remember what happened… You’ll catch up to what happened when your memory stabilizes.
