Bring on the Night

C started an internship in a clothes shop last Monday.

We waited for this chance for some time. It is really an internship to learn Danish better, but also a good way to gain access to the Danish work market.

She was very nervous and even though she wanted this in her heart, she was not that keen on going when the day finally came.

Now, 3 workdays later, she is already more comfortable with it and it seems the other employees have been very kind and welcoming to her. So far everything seems great.

The boss already gave her a few hints that he appreciate her work and begged her to show up today (Saturday) even though it is not in the contract for the internship. I am pretty sure he is surprised to get such a hard working girl by incident. He had no chance to know if she was a keeper. I know she is diligent and a hard worker, but who cares what I say? I would tell him that she was a goddess if she was lazy too.

C made a deal agreeing to an internship for 3 months. 2 days after the internship ends we’ll go to China so it fits perfectly. With little luck C will have a great recommendation from her new boss to find a permanent job at a later time. We’ll just have to wait and see but for now it is a great start.
