Why does some people say: “Ahhhh” after taking a drink of beverage? It really doesn’t taste better if you ask me (yes – I tried if you wonder).
I have an acquaintance who always either drinks his water in numerous small “sips” (with his pinky finger *floating*) or have to utter a big hey-I’m-drinking-water-over-here “AHHHHHHHhhhhhhhh”. It annoys me like hell.
I see no reason to do this, as I couldn’t care less if he drinks water. The voice (and girlish sipping) is more of a a public statement and not a bodily function. A show for the public, cause god forbid, if people finds out he is an ordinary man who drik water because he is thirsty. No – its a scheduled scenery, that we, your followers have to witness.
Its not magic potion that refreshes you completely, nor is it so important that it should be treated like you drink in the company of the royal family. Its freaking water, and we are not short here in Denmark. Don’t make refueling your corpus an event.
Unfortunately I caught myself doing the same a few times when I pop a beer. I noticed that it HAS to be a well-earned beer from a long days work, or it have to be in the company of friends with a special occasion (like a long awaited get-together or similar). Still, I don’t over-do it and I wish some people wouldn’t.
But really, why do we say something that stupid? No matter what I find it overused by some only to attract attention.
I know that type….hate it.
