The robots are coming!

That caught your eye right? The following story is THAT boring and really needed a catch line.
Bottom-line: Laziness caught up with us.
C loves to cook, but hates to wash dishes. I’m a true copy, with the one exception that I am not allowed to cook that much.
Being a northern Chinese and all, C is taught from home that you eat warm food 3 times every day. I don’t mind the warm dishes and all, but it leaves a huge wash. Washing dishes – more boring task would be hard to find.
At least I’ve smitten C a little bit with my lazy gene and she finally accepted to eat müsli for breakfast. It was only possible because she is very tired in the morning (and therefore easy to manipulate to jump the lowest fence). Other than that, the weekend is 3 times warm food.
We discussed it a long time (usually during dishwashing) and we decided that we REALLY needed a dishwashing machine. Money don’t grow on the trees these days, so we went for a second-hand machine.
Got it cheap and I installed it myself (find the error in that sentence).
If you haven’t found the error, let me help you. The key word is “myself”. See I connected and attached all lines and hoses correctly, but failed to check if there were hole through to the drain in the plastic “tap” connecting the hose from the dishwasher. That meant a malfunctioning dishwasher that managed to start but never flushed the remaining water.
After a few days of tampering with the settings I decided to check up on the installation and found my blunder. Fortunately my lack of talent didn’t kill it, and now it is spinning like a kitten.
So I sucked at connecting a dishwasher, but at least I learned it (I hope).
Everyday cooking and cleaning is so much easier, and I can stop whining that C uses too many plates, spoons and so on when she is cooking.
Whine out.
You know you should have contacted me … I’ll connect you right every time :-) …. But at least you didn’t short out the electricity..
Cheers
Actually I did everything correctly, but I didn’t check if the plastic tap was finsished and ready for connection. It is facing the wrong way from the opening of the cupboard :-(
The electricity part was handled by a pro. I pretty sure would have ended my days right there if I tried to finger that cords too.
