On a follow-up on this thread, I remembered that boiled liver is not the only time my wife surprised me food-wise.
She is able to bring a new dimension to what you can mix in the Danish food section as well. I specifically remember 4 examples.
This one she pulled of during a Saturday breakfast where I brought the traditional Danish bread “rundstykker”. I spiced it up with typical products you use on this bread. I didn’t expect her to mix it all together though. The result was: Creamy shrimp cheese on bread with honey and jam (and yes, it looked yucky).
I guess this one speaks for it self. It one of the few I actually caught on camera. Traditional Chinese breakfast rice soup and müsli (Danes eat müsli for breakfast with a dairy product of choice).
One of the more disgusting mixes she made was this one:
Danish black bread (rugbrod) with pate, creamy garlic cheese, remulade and cucumber. See the picture here (Note: You could see Danes eat this variant if you leave out the garlic cheese)
Just yesterday she managed to add yet another variant the list. We had a late dinner with some plain noodle soup. C spiced her bowl up with some BBQ taste French-fries. Unfortunately (?) I didn’t get a picture.
If you wonder, C loved it all. Maybe I just need a more open mind…
