The eagle has landed (and it’s a keeper!)

Thursday at 18.35, my wife landed at Copenhagen International Airport. Everything went smooth for her just until then. I waited 1 hour for her, before she finally popped out to the welcoming area, only to declare her baggage lost. So we had to do some research to get it back.
Turned out it was sent to Aalborg (where we had to go anyway, since our home is here). I am not sure what went wrong, but it gave us 30-40 min extra time before finally being home. It wasn’t a big problem retrieving it when we got to Aalborg Airport, so that’s a plus. All in all a long day for both of us though my wife certainly had the worst.
My wife got up at 6.00 o’clock Thursday (Chinese time) and left for Harbin Airport. Then on to Beijing and then Copenhagen (she only slept 1 hour on the airplane). Then we roamed the airport to get the luggage, before finally going 3 hours 45 minutes in car to Aalborg. When we finally hit the sack, it was 2.00 am Danish time (add 7 hours to get Chinese time). So a good long 25-hour day for her before finally catching some qualified sleep.
So now she is here, and now we try to calibrate our internal clocks to match (meaning that she is catching up with some pillow hugging at 18.50 pm). Better pull her out of wonderland and stuff some grub down her throat. Woe is me :-)
Finally she’s here !!!! Say HI from me and my dog.
Gotta do this one in danish as she has to learn anyways… ;)
Tillykke til jer begge… :)
