Famous last words

As I grabbed my shoes ready to go for a walk in the nearby park I said to C: “Did you remember to lock the rabbit cage”? C replied: “Of course!?” with a hint of do-you-think-I’m-that-stupid-again in her voice.
The incident 2 days ago was fresh in memory still. C had put all her potted tomatoes outside to lick some sun, and had forgotten to close the door in the cage. Fortunately we caught the bastards fast, so they only managed to finish off 3 salad shots and 1½ tomato plant. If you read this blog before, you’ll know that we won’t miss the tomato plants, since we already have a botanical garden of them.
Back from the park I spotted this:
That’s rabbit teeth if you wonder.
A well-placed box to help the rabbits reach the succulent chilli
This is how you look, when you don’t want to say “sorry I didn’t listen to you my wise husband”, but just try to wear it off by posing puzzled.
Now we’ll just have to wait and see if the rabbits make it through to tomorrow. They didn’t look ill at all. 1½ of the same chilly fruit almost killed Kojak yesterday as he was trying to eat his way through Cs side dish.
That sucks, I hope your rabbits are ok.
They seem fine. Guess they don’t care what they eat, as long as it is fresh.
Good to hear they are well, rabbits are great especially since they won’t aggravate allergies. From what Ive see rabbits will eat any vegetable or plant they can find until they can’t eat anything else :P
I had 50 rabbits once, I dont want to do that again!
the rabbits r so smart. rabbits like chili? They must be cute. :)
They are cute, but I am happy that C does all the cleaning. I’d hate to do that all the time. But since they are hers, she have to clean. Pheew :-)
