3 buttons of annoyance

Button of annoyance nr 1 – Caps Lock
If you – like me – always use the splendid 2-finger system for writing, you must have experienced the horror of later proofreading your daily letters only to see something like this:
dEAR MR. GATES.
dO YOU NOW THAT wINDOWS SUCKS BIG TIME? wHAT WERE YOU THINKING WHEN YOU TRIED TO COPY OTHER WELL-WORKING os LIKE mACos, aMIGA wORKBENCH AND aTARI? pLEASE TRY AGAIN, AND THIS TIME MAKE SURE 640kB really IS ENOUGH, AND REMOVE DISK SWAPPING, THANKS!
bEST WISHES
aNONYMOUS
This is an example, and would NEVER be something yours truly would write… of course.
Oh man, I hate Caps Lock. It really bugs me to see complete sentences written in caps, and I have to write it again. It wouldn’t be such a big deal, if only I was that single person on the globe who actually uses the damn button for some nerdish programming thingy. But alas I am not. I hate the little sucker.
At my home computers I have solved the problem with a little program (anti caps lock). Sweet. Work, however, is another matter. My administration privileges are not set so I can install stuff, so I have solved it the hard way.
Update: finally got Anti Caps working at work. Just installed it here at home and mailed the installed directory to work. Bingo! I’m happy again.
Button of annoyance nr 2 – The Windows button
In the middle of a life and death important game of Counter-Strike, you accidentally press the wrong button. Normally it’s not a huge problem, unless you hit the dreaded “windows-button”. Then your’e back in windows again, with no control of your game. Some games even freeze up or lock if you hit it.
I bet at least 5 people use it on a world scale, but it is not me. And even if I did, its presence does not justify the annoyance if gives me. Thank you for introducing that worthless peace of shit button Microsoft. We really needed one more button to control windows.
Button of annoyance nr 3 – The Insert button
Have you ever spanked your keyboard in frustration because you just deleted a sentence instead of inserting a new? I have. Button of annoyance nr 3 is the INSERT key.
I know some people use this button when they write, but I would bet that this button is liable for more wrongfully deleted text than it has inserted.
A plea to Microsoft:
Oh please, Microsoft, incorporate a possibility to disable or enable stupid buttons like those more easily, instead giving us the grief of searching for hacks to do the job. Don’t even get me started on the SysRq, Scroll Lock, and the Num Lock buttons too, ok?

You are the “Speaker of Truth”..I bow my head for thy wisdom. Even in Microsoft the word “customer” should have penetrated the thick skull of Bill Gates…Oops sorry about that…he was of course away on a fundraising for the illiterate ;)
